PARAGLIDING ROADTRIPS

We organize roadtrips to different countries. Mainly Iran, Morocco, Algeria etc… We also occasionally organise trips to the Spanish Pyrenees and the Canary Island of Lanzarote. Our trips are more than just paragliding adventures. We like to fly as much as we can and travel around in the country. Meeting locals, enjoying the local kitchen, exploring their culture.

We are not organizing trips to Mexico, Colombia, South Africa as many other colleagues offer these trips.

Fromflying over the magic dunes near Mirleft and Agadir, to inland oases near Tafraoute. Soaring with the vultures over the Anti-Atlas. Ending up with a berber mint tea in the valley. Our roadtrips in Doyouwanna are a mix of flying and culture. We try to fly as many different sites as possible, and all with local pilots around, and based on our local knowledge.

At the coast we have the famous Nid d´Aigle where we usually come and greet some friends. Then we move on to lesser crowded sites, near Legzira and some hidden gems in the south. All with friendly take offs and huge landing possibilities. One of our favourite spots near the coast is Sidi Ourzek, a small tiny fishing village with a surf scene. We re there to land after the flight and have the most fresh ocean fish ever. Cooked by our Moroccon host lady Fatima.

Inland near Tafraoute, the anti Atlas. Each time arriving in this southern part of Morocoo the bus gets quiet. The beauty of its nature, the deep valleys, the immense views from the hills, you ll feel being dropped in a decor of beauty.

Iran took my heart. Many will frown when they hear the country Iran as a paragliding destination. But once there you ll quickly realize we call it the land of the thousand beauties. It´s a huge country with sites on high hills, take offs at 2200 meter, dunes near Yazd in the desert, coastal sites near Bandar Abbass and so many other inland sites to enjoy.

Iran does have some very good pilots, girls and boys. Very dedicated to the sport. They want to get out in nature enjoy the freedom where else it is forbidden. The majority of the Iraneans are fantastic people, they ll help you whenever they can.

They are a proud country, despite the cruel regime they live under now. They will show you their best places to fly, will make you feel welcome like on one else.

Pyrenees south, sites like Berga, Organya and the classic Áger.

End of june we roadtrip with a 9 seater bus and fly the three sites. Its green lush valleys, Berga like no other. We fly early in the morning over the monastery in a gentle morning flight, accompanied by the singing of the Roman Catholic choir. Later in the day, we take off from Las Marías, gliding through the beautiful sunset hours, with Montserrat, near Barcelona, visible on the horizon.

We primarily fly in dynamic conditions near the ocean, alongside the surfers below in Famara. A beach flying vacation doesn´t get twitter. Why Lanzarote, and not Tenerife? Because we don´t like crowded sites. We prefer to fly in little groups, lesser stress, lesser noise!!

For many years, we have been travelling through the world, finding hidden gems to fly. Uncrowded sites, outstanding in their beauty, exceptional in their splendor. That could be a low ridge or a high hill, a huge mountain. The thrill for us to fly these unknown places and discover the beauty unknown.

At Paragliding Doyouwanna Alicante, our trips are more than just simple paragliding flights. We are passionate about immersing ourselves in the local culture, meeting the locals, enjoying traditional cuisine, and exploring every corner of the countries we visit. We believe that flying is a way of life, and we want to share this passion with you.

We take care of all the logistical details so that you only have to worry about enjoying the experience. Our packs include accommodation, breakfasts, guides, pickups, and transportation in a 9-seater bus. You just need to get a ticket to the nearest airport and start your Indiana Jones adventure with us.
